Are Ghost Rider and others on the way to Fortnite’s Nexus War?

“Is the game about to receive another bundle of Marvel heroes?”

Fortnite’s current Nexus War has undoubtedly been a massive success, with Epic Games consistently appeasing their player base with a slew of unlockable or purchasable Marvel skins for their battle royal wardrobes. While this event kicked off with skins like Dr. Doom, Iron Man, She-Hulk, Thor, and other big names from the Comics and Movie giants catalogue of heroes, Epic has released more outfits as the season progressed like Daredevil, Silver Surfer, and Captain America, but is the game about to receive another bundle of Marvel heroes?

Reliable leaker @ShiinaBR over on Twitter claims the games most recent update includes files related to Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider, the stuntman turned supernatural spirit of vengeance is probably most well known by casual Marvel fans as that guy Nic Cage played in those films. Known for his flaming skull and trademark hell cycle, Ghost Rider is one of the more unique anti-heroes in Marvel Comics, and his inclusion in Fortnite could coincide quite nicely with Halloween just around the corner.

Meanwhile, once again over on Twitter, another reputable leaker @iFireMonkey was able to find hidden away in the game’s innards the following information.

This seemingly confirms not only Ghost Rider’s inclusion but also that of popular Marvel Hero and former Fortnite alum Ant-Man. But wait, there are even more potential hero additions. Recently Marvel announced a series of crossover covers created by their artists to tie in with Fortnite across the following titles:

  • AVENGERS
  • FANTASTIC FOUR
  • SAVAGE AVENGERS
  • MARAUDERS
  • THOR
  • VENOM
  • X-FORCE
  • AVENGERS
  • CAPTAIN AMERICA
  • CAPTAIN MARVEL
  • GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
  • X-MEN

Although most of the covers featured characters are already obtainable, one particular cover of the Marvel Avengers comics has fans excited..

Again in this cover, we get to see Ghost Rider, further fueling the notion of his inclusion, and of course Black Panther, but eagled eyed fans may also have noticed Captain Marvel in the top left of this cover.

Will we be seeing a super-powered Carol Danvers enter the Nexus War with Black Panther any time soon? At this rate, anything seems possible.
