The Wild Eight, Better Late Than Never On PS4

The Wild Eight is a game that’s been out for a little over a year now on PC and has amassed near 5,000 reviews and rightfully earning itself a mostly positive reception. Playable solo or in co-op you find yourself as one of the titular eight survivors of a plane crash in a frozen Alaskan Wilderness, now it’s up to you to survive the cold and make sense of the bizarre surroundings you’ve found yourself in the midst of, for the first time on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility.

Your survival will initially be focused on gaining a foothold of your surroundings, which thanks to the emergent world of The Wild Eight, will never be the same twice. Each playthrough will offer you an entirely new experience to keep you on your toes as you hunt, craft, gather and fend off the dangers of a natural world, and that of a supernatural too.

Be it the bone-chilling weather, the beasts inhabiting the terrain, or the things that lurk in the dark, you’ll have your work cut out for you if you hope to make it out alive and tell your tale.
